WESTPARK TOLLWAY
The Fort Bend Westpark Tollway is a six mile road that parallels FM 1093 from FM 1464 to west of SH 99 (Grand Parkway) and is an extension of the Harris County Toll Road Authority's (HCTRA) 20-mile Westpark Tollway. The Fort Bend Westpark Tollway ties into the recently constructed HCTRA portion of the tollway.
The entire 20-mile Tollway extends from SH 99 (Grand Parkway) on the west to IH 610 on the east. The project drastically improves mobility for Fort Bend county residents in the area by creating a new east-west corridor with access to SH 6, Sam Houston Tollway (Beltway 8), US 59, and the Galleria Area.
Parallel to the Fort Bend Westpark Tollway, FM 1093 has been widened by TxDOT to four lanes. The Fort Bend Westpark Tollway added an additional four lanes to this effort, resulting in an eight-lane road.
